My own self-directed project in silverwork and jewellery design.

My work generally focuses on heavy, raw and natural forms in recycled Sterling silver. I experiment with multiple silversmithing techniques to achieve these types of forms including sand casting, reticulation and doming. During my design process for jewellery pieces I will research into a broad range of directions which include historical jewellery, contemporary art and sculpture, Celtic tradition and geology. My end product is something that I hope to be a timeless and sustainable piece for the wearer, transcending trends and throwaway culture.
